Bornprettystore - Water decals

Ciao ragazze, finalmente oggi riesco a scrivere un altro post e vi parlerò dei water decals fosforescenti. che ho ricevuto grazie alla collaborazione con il sito Bornprettystore, di cui vi avevo parlato nel post precedente
Hi guys, finally today I wrote a new post. Today I want to show you the luminous water decals, that I received by Bornprettystore for a collaboration, I talked about it in the last post.

Eh si sono questi water decals sono a tema natalizio/invernale, lo so sono un tantino in ritardo, visto che ormai l'inverno è passato e la primavera finalmente sembra essere arrivata..
In ogni caso vi dovete sorbire le due manicure che ho realizzato, per la prima utilizzato i pupazzetti di neve, di cui mi sono pazzamente innamorata appena li ho visti, ditemi voi se non sono carinissimi e poi sono anche fosforescenti.
These are a Christmas/winter water decals, I know that I'm late and the winter is already passed and the spring is come over.
I realized two manicure with them, for the first one I used the snowman water decals, I fell in love with these snowmans just I saw them. I think that they are so cute and they are also luminous.

 

Come base ho usato lo Sugar Matt 644 di Kiko, con sopra una quintalata di top coat per renderlo lucido e i fiochi di neve sono frutto dello stamping plate BP01 sempre di Bornprettystore di cui vi avevo parlato qui.
As base I used Kiko Sugar Matt 644, whit more top coat to make it glossy. For the snowflakes I used Bornprettystore stamping plate BP01, that I show you here.

 

Mentre per questa seconda manicure ho utilizzato, l'unica decorazione non prettamente natalizia, ovvero il fiocchetto bianco. La base doveva essere una gradient, per nulla riuscita, ed ho usato Miss You-niverse e I'm felling Sashy entrambi OPI.
For the second manicure I used the only water decals that it had't a winter/Christmas theme, the bow. The base is a failed gradient with OPI You-niverse and OPI I'm felling Shashy.

Credo di avervelo già detto, nel caso ve lo ripeto, io adoro i water decals, ne ho davvero tanti, li trovo un metodo facilissimo per decorare le nostre unghie e che richiede davvero poco tempo, quindi se non li avete già provati vi consiglio di provarne qualcuno, sono certa che non ve ne pentirete.
I already talked to you of water decals, I have a lot of water decals, I love them because with them I can do a cute manicure in a little time. If you don't have already try them , I recommend you to try them at least one time.

Bornprettystore - Stamping plate BP01

Ciao ragazze, sul sito bornprettystore per il loro 4° anniversario di attività c'era la possibilità, condividendo un banner sui vari social, di ricevere gratis uno stamping plate a scelta tra quelli proposti ed io ho scelto lo stamping plate BP01.
Hi guys, on bornprettystore for their 4th anniversary there was the opportunity to get free a stamping plate and I choose the stamping plate BP01.

Si lo so è un plate a tema per lo più natalizio e se vi state chiedendo se so che Natale è passato da un pezzo e che non ha molto senso farvi vedere ora delle nail art natalizie, so anche questo, ma avevo il post già mezzo pronto e mi  dispiaceva lasciarlo in bozze fino al prossimo Natale quindi mi spiace ma vi beccate quest'ultime mie nail art natalizie.

It is a Christma ys theme stamping plate, if you want to know if  I know that Christmas has already passed, the answer is yes, I know it! I hadstarted to write this post before Christmas time had passed but I hadn't time to finish it before today.

Come base per questa nail art ho usato il Leading Lady di Essie e per stamping ho usato lo stampy polish n°03 stamp me! silver di Essence.
The nail polishes that I used for this nail art are Essie Leading Lady and Essence n°03 stamp me! silver.

Mentre la base di questa seconda nail art è stata il Don't Bossa Nove Me Around di OPI e per lo stamping ho usato il Taupe-less Beach di OPI sul medio e il n°39 Spicy della vecchia linea multidimension di Essence sull'anulare.
Instead the nail polishes that I used for this second nail art are OPI Don't Bossa Nova Me Around, OPI Taupe-less Beach and Essence n°39 Spicy.

E queste erano le prove fatte su carta di tutte le immagini del dischetto.

Ciao ragazze, rieccomi un pò in ritardo con un nuovo post per il challenge Getting ready for Christmas, credo che sarà anche l'ultimo visto che il Natale è già passato e purtroppo le feste ormai stanno giungendo al termine.

#2 Glitter Overload

Questa è stata la mia nail art per il giorno di Natale, ispirata alla candy canes. La nail art è abbastanza semplice l'unica difficoltà che ho avuto e dal risultato si nota è stata il contornare le palline per il resto grazie all'utilizzo del dotter e dello striping tape è stato davvero semplice da realizzare.
This was my Christmas nail art, ispired by candy canes. It is very simple and the only difficulty, as you can see by the result, is to create the Christmas balls border the rest of nail art i very very simple to do if you use a striping tape and a dotter.

#4 Red and Gold

Come è intuibile dall'orologio questa è stata la mia manicure per Capodanno, anche questa molto semplice e anche qui l'unica difficoltà è stata creare il contorno dell'orologio. I glitter dorati sono stati tamponati sulla punta delle unghie con un pezzetto di spugna e i calici sono frutto della stamping plate B04.
As you can immagine by the watch, this was my New Year nail art. It is very simple and the only difficulty is to create the watch border. To apply the gold glitter I used a sponge and to draw the glasses I used the fauxand B04 stamping plate.

#8 The Christmas Red

1° OPI Blog Contest - Princesses Rule!

Parto subito col dirvi che gli smalti nelle tonalità del rosa non mi piacciono particolarmente perciò ho dato più attenzione a questo rispetto a Curry Up Don't Be Late! per cercare di cambiare idea. Comunque sono dell'idea che molto probabilmente lo userò poco nonostante sia davvero particolare come colore non è il solito rosa piatto ma è pieno di glitter argentati che gli danno un tono di festa, lo definirei principesco per restare in tema con il nome.
I don't like pink nail polish therefore I gave more attention to this enamel than Curry Up Don't Be Late! However I think I won't use it many time also it is a really particular enamel, it isn't the usual pink but it contain more silver glitter. It is a princely nail polish to refer to his name.

Come Curry Up Don't Be Late! non è per nulla comprente nelle prime passate.
Unfortunately it is far from hiding the whole nail with the first coats like Curry Up Don't Be Late!

Notate come anche con due passate la lunetta si vede chiaramente ma a differenza di Curry Up Don't Be Late! il risultato è omogeneo quindi portabilissimo anche così. Va benissino anzi direi che è ottimo per chi vuole un effetto leggero e allo stesso tempo elegante.
Anche con la terza passata rimane visibile la lunetta e il risultato solo leggermente più coprente. 
You can note that with also two coat the result is far from covering but it is different by Curry Up Don't Be Late! becouse the result is homogeneous therefore you can use it with only two pass if you want a light and elegant effect. 
The nails are slightly more covered with the third coat.

Anche in questo caso ho deciso di provare a fare la quarta passata e anche così non è coprente al massimo ma...
I decide to do another coat and the nails aren't again completely covered but...

...l'effetto è davvero stupendo peccato che non lo vedo proprio sulle mie mani uno smalto rosa e mi dispiace perchè Princesses Rule! non è niente male e l'ultima foto secondo me lo dimostra in maniera eclatante.

...the effect is really nice, unfortunately I think that the pink enamel isn't well on my nails and I'm sorry becouse Princesses Rule isn't bad and in my opinion the last photo shows it very well.

In generale lo consiglio soprattutto a chi ama gli smalti di colore rosa e i glitter perchè Princesses Rule! ne ha in abbondanza, lo sconsiglio a chi vuole un'ottima coprenza in meno di quattro passate.
Ha una cosistenza leggermente più liquida di Curry Up Don't Be Late! inoltre si stende facilmente grazie anche al prowide brush mentre la rimozione non è tra le più facili (ma con questo non intendo che è difficilissima) e lascia brillanti su tutte le dita ma questo vale per tutti gli smalti glitterati. I tempi per asciugare sono un pò più lunghi, ma sempre brevi, rispetto a quelli di Curry Up Don't Be Late! però la durata é leggermente superiore infatti il sesto giorno era quasi del tutto intatto.

I'll recommend it if you love pink enamel and glitter enamel becouse Princesses Rule! contains a lot of glitter but I won't recommed it if you don't see your tips with less than four coats.

It has a consistency slightly more liquid than Curry Up Don't Be Late! it spreads easily thanks to the fantastic prowide brush. It wants more time to dry than the other nail polish I've tried for the contest and it

was still perfect the sixth day.

Anche questo smalto ha un costo di 15 € per 15ml di prodotto con una scadenza di 24 mesi dall'apertura che come ho già detto è un pò altino per i miei gusti però non c'è da dimenticare l'alta qualità dei prodotti OPI.
This nail polish costs 15 € for 15ml of product with a deadline of 24 months from opening, it is expensive but the OPI products quality is high.

 Vi ricordo che gli smalti OPI
- sono Big 3 free: senza toluene, formaldeide e BDP
- non testano sugli animali
-possono essere usati dalle donne in gravidanza.

Il primo che ho provato è Curry Up Don't Be Late!, fa parte della collenzione India uscita per la primavera/estate del 2008 è un color oro shimmer metallizzato, che vedo molto adatto al periodo natalizio ma anche per l'estate con la pelle più abbronzata.
Curry Up Don't Be Late! is an Indian collection nail polish. It is a gold shimmer metallic, I think that it is suitable for Christmas but also to summertime when  the skin is tanned.

Ha una consistenza non troppo densa nè troppo liquida si stende facilmente anche grazie al fantastico prowide brush di forma rettangolare che con una sola passata riesce a coprire tutta l'unghia. Purtroppo però non è per nulla coprente e a me piacciono gli smalti che sono coprenti sin dalla prima passata o al massimo con due perchè vado sempre di fretta e soprattutto perchè mi scoccio ad aspettare che si asciughino quando sono necessari più strati.
Alla prima passata il risultato oltre a non essere per nulla coprente non neanche omogeneo.
Curry Up Don't Be Late! has a texture neither thick nor thin and it spreads easily thanks to the fantastic prowide brush that covers the whole nail with only one coat. Unfortunately it is far from hiding the whole nail with one coat and I like the nail polish which do it with one coat or at most two coats because I'm always in a hurry and because I don't like to wait when you need more coats.
The result is neither covering nor homogeneous with one coat.

Con due passate il risultato migliora di un pochino ma rimane non coprente e non è ancora ben omogeneo:

Con tre passate è tutta un'altra musica il risultato è quasi perfetto, dico quasi perchè in base alla luce si notano delle minime (e sono davvero minime quasi impercettibili) disomogeneità e a volte qualche segno lasciato dal pennello anche se questo a me è capitato spesso con smalti metallizzati.

It is a different music with three coats, the result is almost perfect, I say almost because you can see according the light some little (and I'm really llittle, almost imperceptible) inhomogeneities and the occasional sign left by the brush but it often happened to me with metallic nail polishes.

Alla fine ho deciso di fare un'ulteriore passata e allora si che era perfetto sembrava di avere oro colato sulle unghie. E' piacuto anche al mio ragazzo perchè gli ricorda la sanape e lui ne è un amante.
At theend I decided to do another coat, now with four coats it is perfect. Even to my boyfriend liked it because it reminds him mustard and he is a lover of mustard.

Il giorno dopo ho notato su qualche unghia quelle odiose bollicine che a volte si formano, credo che sia dovuto al fatto che tra la terza e la quarta passata non ho fatto passare abbastanza tempo e quindi non ho dato allo smalto la possibilità di asciugarsi per bene..
In generale per asciugarsi le prime due passate ci sono voluti pochi secondi per le altre due qualche minuto e forse avrei dovuto concedergli qualcuno in più.
The day after I noticed that on my nails there were some hateful bubbles, which were formed maybe because I didn't wait sufficient time to dry enamel between the thrid coat and the fourth coat.
However to dry the first two coats are enough a few second and the other coats some minutes and maybe I had to wait more minutes.

Il sabato sera gli ho abbinato anche una maglietta che ha richiami dorati.
The saturday night I paired a gold-brown shirt.

Quindi in definitiva se vi chiedete se lo consiglio la risposta è si il colore è davvero bello a me ricorda le vancaze e di conseguenza mi mette allegria e se ha contro il dover fare più passate e a me come vi già detto scoccia, ha a suo favore il tempo che impiega ad asciugarsi molto più breve di molti altri smalti che ho provato, sicuramente lo riutizzerò parecchio quest'estate ^_^ Purtroppo però gli smalti OPI hanno un prezzo che è tutt'altro che irrisorio di 15 € per 15ml di prodotto con una scadenza di 24 mesi dall'apertura.
Inoltre la durata è incredibile, nonostante io non abbia usato il top coat lo smalto è rimasto intatto fino al quinto giorno solo la sera ha iniziato a sbeccarsi in punta e il sesto giorno era così...
If you're wondering whether I will suggest, the answer is yes, the colour is very very nice, it remind me the holyday and for this reason it makes me happy. I don't like to do more than two coats but the time to dry is little, for this reason I'll use it many times this summer ^_^ Unfortunately OPI  nail polishes have a price that is far from insignificant 15 € for 15ml of product with a deadline of 24 months from opening. Moreover whitout top coat Curry Don't Be Late! was still perfect after five days and the sixth day it was so... 

Un paio di giorni dopo averlo messo ho deciso di abbellirlo, anche se non ne aveva bisogno dato che è molto bello già di suo, con degli stickers a forma di stelle.

A couple of days later I decided to embellish it, even if it didn't need since it is already very nice, with some star stickers.

Piccola nota storica sullo sfondo dell'ultimo foto si vede il Taj Mahal mausoleo, situato ad Agra nell'India settentrionale, fatto costruire nel 1632 dall'imperatore moghul Shah Jadan in memoria della terza moglie Arjumand Banu Begum. Egli scrisse: "La vista di questo palazzo provoca tristi sospiri e fa versare lacrime dagli occhi del sole e della luna. Questo edificio è stato costruito per mostrare, attraverso di esso, la gloria del Creatore."
Da sempre è considerata una delle più notevoli bellezze architettoniche dell'India e del mondo al punto che dal 1983 fa parte dei patrimoni dell'umanità dell'UNESCO.
The Taj Mahal  is a mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built by mughal emperor Dhah Jadan in memory of his third wife, Arjumand Banu Begum in 1632. He write: "The sight of this mansion creates sorrowing sighs and the sun and the moon shed tears from their eyes. In this world this edifice has been made to display thereby the creator's glory ". It is widely considered as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world andfor this reason the Taj Mahal became a  UNESCO world heritage Site in 1983.
